Dr. Heather Christenberry joined the team with a deep-rooted passion for the bond between people and their pets. A 2004 graduate of North Carolina State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Heather spent years honing her skills as an associate veterinarian in both mixed-animal and exclusive small-animal private practices. Several years later, she decided to “retire” from private practice to fulfill her dream of owning and operating a farm and to spend more time with her daughter.
When she is not helping at a vaccine clinic, you will find Dr. Heather working on the farm, raising broiler chickens and registered Red Angus cattle. Dr. Heather has an immense appreciation for animal agriculture and the relationship between people and their pets. She feels that not only do we have a responsibility for our animals, but an obligation to keep them healthy and happy.
Since her “retirement” from private practice, Dr. Heather has thoroughly enjoyed this opportunity to help people provide the best possible care for their pets once again!
